  • Preparing invalidity and non-infringement opinions when needed
  • Analyzing competitor products and services for potential patent infringement
  • Analyzing IP assets and conducting due diligence for prospective IP sales and licenses
  • Advising clients about licensing their IP

Mike works with a variety of technologies, focusing primarily on the electrical, software and mechanical technology areas. Examples of technologies that Mike has worked with include:

  • Electrical - infrared heating, thermography, solid-state memory, hard disk drives, motor control and compensation
  • Software - applications, embedded systems, software as a service
  • Medical Devices - neurological, cardiovascular, and electrosurgical devices and algorithms; orthopedic devices
  • Mechanical - computer display stands, metal casting, metal matrix composites, optical fiber polishing, fluid sensors
